Cam Buma Project
Founded in 2012, this project was Cam Buma’s first foray into establishing himself and his sound as a musician. After completing his studies, Cam found himself with much more time to compose, and soon enough, 5 pieces were completed (entitled Germany 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) and were yet to be heard by him. He collected a group of musicians together that he had met at various jam sessions with the goal of trying out some of these songs, and it instantly clicked. Slowly, each song got it’s own name (except for Germany 4, still called Germany 4) and more were added to the repertoire. The band gradually changed personnel as people became unavailable, and a saxophonist and extra pianist were added because it seemed like a good idea at the time.
In it’s final form the band featured a truly killer line-up: Alex Klauck on drums, Konrad Herbolzheimer on Bass, Noah Rott and Roman Schuler on keyboards, David Grabowski on guitar, David Jedeck on sax, and Philipp Puschel on trumpet.
